For the past 20 years, Swedish-born soul singer Theresa Andersson has called New Orleans her home. It's rubbed off on her. "What Comes Next," a cut from her forthcoming full-length Street Parade, blends Scandinavian pop smarts with the sort of lively, brassy energy that belies the record's title. And, added bonus: Andersson's hot-to-the-touch vocals find a wonderful counterpart here in the more temperate pipes of Peter Moren, he of Peter Bjorn and John fame. Street Parade is due April 24 on Basin Street Records.
