Alexi Lubomirski, who's best known for his mildly scandalous (in Tokyo) photo of Brit Brit naked on the cover of Harper's Bazaar, launched his first book of photographs Tuesday night, October 21, at Milk Gallery.

Presented by Citi, the event featured Lubomirski's photos, a collection called 'Transit,' projected across the wall like an unraveled film-strip that rotated through his set of gritty-gorgeous shots.

Lubomirski described his work as "visual transit," or the moment that a casual observer chooses to stay with a single frame or, in his words, "turn over."

The crowd sipped cocktails provided by 42Below Vodka. Spotted were Robin Williams, Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman of Marchesa, and Rag and Bone designers Marcus Wainwright and David Neville.
