Farm Aid Heads to Jersey

News

Willie Nelson, Neil Young, and John Mellencamp will hold their 19th-annual Farm Aid concert at the Tweeter Center in Camden, N.J., on Sept. 30. This year's installment will also include a performance by Dave Matthews, who joined the organization's Boston-based board of directors in 2001. Other acts will be announced in the upcoming weeks. The benefit concert has helped raise over $29 million in its existence, encouraging people to buy food grown locally and to fight corporate agriculture. Tickets go on sale July 22.

Talk: Do you buy locally grown produce in your hometown? Or, are you on more of a string cheese, Tostitos, and Gatorade kind of diet? COMMENT
