Family Band lightened their gloom-struck somber-pop for last year's "Moonbeams" video, setting up a meeting between two reanimated skeletons searching for love in the afterlife. Now, for the video to "Lace," another cut off 2012's Grace & Lies LP, husband-wife duo Jonny Ollsin and Kim Krans double down on the horror movie aesthetic. Shots of Krans singing through a séance while bathed in flickering light — a dead-on visual match for the track's staccato rhythm — are interspersed with close-ups of bloodshot eyeballs. Hovering in the background of every few cuts there's a mysterious masked figure, proving the frontwoman isn't alone in the void.
