Fall Out Boy crashed Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night (July 18) for a bare-bones — by their theatrical standards — performance of "The Phoenix." The Save Rock and Roll stars didn't bring any Spinal Tap-referencing set pieces with them, they left the straight jackets at home, and they didn't even bother to call in new BFF Ryan Adams for a surprise guest appearance. Instead, the emo-pop comeback kids delivered a muscular, itchy-footed rendition of their glitzy call-to-arms single. Watch the footage above.
