A decade into their career, NYC’s the Rapture sure know how to craft the soundtrack to the city’s bustling late-night scene. At SPIN’s Mahnattan headquarters, the band — vocalist-guitarist Luke Jenner, multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Andruzzi, and drummer Vito Roccoforte, plus touring bassist Harris Klahr — proved it, shifting from still-punchy older cuts to epic jams from their latest album, In the Grace of Your Love. “House of Jealous Lovers,” off their 2003 debut Echoes, incurred frenzied dancing by partygoers at our office, while Andruzzi’s sax work turned “Get Myself Into It” into a loose boogie, and Jenner bounded through the crowd during the piano-tinged, ’80s house influenced “How Deep Is Your Love?”
