As you've probably read on our site over the last week, human rights organization Amnesty International has gathered together a slew of excellent bands -- such as R.E.M., the National, Cat Power, and Justice -- for the Small Places Tour, which marks the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The concerts, which are to take place from Sept. 10 - Dec. 10, are intended to bring attention to urgent global human rights concerns, as well as to raise funds for future Amnesty campaigns.

To promote the string of concerts, acclaimed Catalan filmmaker Lluis Danes shot public service announcements with more than 30 participating bands. SPIN.com has already premiered spots from R.E.M., Justice, and Cat Power, and below, you can check Ezra Koenig and Chris Baio (no relation to Scott, folks) of recent Spin cover boys Vampire Weekend, who make a short but powerful statement.
