One of the few bands to truly live up to its name – or at least half of it – Apollo Sunshine is readying another ray of pop delight, Shall Noise Upon, for release on Sept. 2 via Headless Heroes.
And these champions of all things downright chirpy have graced SPIN.com with a little teaser for ya, “Singing to the Earth (To Thank Her for You),” available for download here. The pleasingly repetitious number is all sorts of hand-clapping, high-register goodness,sounding weirdly like the less pandering version of “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing” that Coca-Cola may have preferred to use in their infamous ad. And like the soft drink behemoth oft encourages its consumers to do, we implore you to hit play on this MP3 and, simply, enjoy.
