Eminem got the rumor mill churning this week when he tweeted a cryptic message on Monday. “Don’t worry,” said the rapper. “Some big news is coming. Soon.” Now his producer, New Jersey-based Just Blaze, is getting in on the fun, revealing a few tidbits about Em’s upcoming album.
“It’s getting there, but we still got a lot of work,” Just Blaze told MTV. Eminem’s highly-anticipated Relapse 2 was supposed to be released last year, but production on the record got pushed back. Now it appears that he’s working hard to ready the album as soon as possible, and Just Blaze is confident that Slim Shady is going to outdo himself this time around.
“The wordplay is crazy, the metaphors are crazy,” he said. “He’s really back on his game. He had his ups, he had his downs, he’s back way, way, way up.”
