Eminem Will Face Off With Fans in SiriusXM ‘Town Hall’ Interview

The real Slim Shady will sit down and take your questions. Eminem will participate in SiriusXM’s “Town Hall” series of intimate Q&A sessions, the satellite radio provider has announced. The career-spanning discussion will take place on November 4 and air on November 5, the same day the Detroit rapper releases his new album The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

The conversation is scheduled to air on Eminem’s SiriusXM channel, Shade 45, at 12:00 p.m. EST on November 5. The channel’s Sway in the Morning host Sway Calloway, also known from MTV News and his nationally syndicated radio show The Wake Up Show, will moderate. SiriusXM listeners can enter for a chance to participate in the session via SiriusXM’s website.

The Marshall Mathers LP 2 comes with executive producer credits for Dr. Dre and Rick Rubin. Guests on the record include Rihanna and Kendrick Lamar, plus fun.’s Nate Ruess and previous Eminem collaborator Skylar Grey. The tracks “Rap God,” “Survival,” and “Berzerk” have all surfaced so far.

SiriusXM’s “Town Hall” series recently hosted Pearl Jam, with the Lightning Bolt band’s frontman, Eddie Vedder, quipping that keeping the group together is “life or death.” Soundgarden stopped by for a session in November 2012, and Jon Stewart sat down with the surviving Nirvana members for a 2011 “Town Hall” session commemorating the 20th anniversary of Nevermind.
