After rehashing Eminem's trouble past in the music video for "The Monster," Mr. Slim Shady and Rihanna took to the MTV Movie Awards to perform the The Marshall Mathers LP 2 standout. The duo prowled the large stage at Los Angeles' Staples Center, with Rihanna clad in a puffy white jacket reminiscent of Missy Elliott's old style — plus a headband that said "Fear," for some reason. The appearance comes in advance of their co-headlining, three-date "Monster" stadium tour, which kicks off August 7 at L.A.'s Rose Bowl.
At the top of the broadcast, host Conan O'Brien had a funny segment in which he attempted to get 50 celebrity cameos in the span of a few minutes, overloading on the star power to please the young MTV fans. The famous faces included Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Skrillex, and, best of all, Jack White, whose guitar O'Brien smashes in an Animal House-like fashion. Enjoy that bit below.
