Eminem just announced the release date for his long-awaited eighth studio album. MMLP2 — presumably an abbreviation for the Marshall Mathers LP 2 — will arrive on November 5. Dr. Dre and Rick Rubin are credited as executive producers.

Em made the reveal in a commercial that aired during the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. The brief advertisement plugged Dre's Beats headphones and featured a snippet of a new song that sounds akin to early Beastie Boys. An email blast went out shortly thereafter, directing attention to his official website. According to the site, new single "Berzerk" arrives Tuesday, August 27.

A second trailer arrived later in the VMA broadcast, making more clear references to Beastie Boys "So What Cha Want" video, Billy Squier, and extreme yelping. Watch it below.

Another song slated for the Recovery follow-up, "Survival," debuted via a recent trailer for the video game Call of Duty: Ghosts.
