Ellie Goulding has released a new music video starring actress Rachel McAdams in support of "How Long Will I Love You," one of 10 bonus tracks featured on the pop siren's just-dropped Halcyon Days. To be clear, the clip doesn't feature any original shots of McAdams — instead, the video culls footage from About Time, a British romantic comedy that features the 34-year-old movie star (and, weirdly, a Groundhog's Day-esque time-travel plot). Goulding's "How Long Will I Love You," a tender cover of a song by U.K. folkie crew the Waterboys, appears on the film's soundtrack.
When the camera isn't spying on the love story between McAdams and About Time co-star Domhnall Gleeson, it's focused on Ellie, who honors sappy rom-com tropes by gazing wistfully through a window, walking alone by a beach, and staring off into a gray horizon.
