Break-ups are the worst, and Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris — who are still not a couple, regardless of whatever any previous videos might portray — understand the general soul-sucking misery that inevitably comes with leaving your significant other. In the duo’s new video for “Outside,” which is featured on Harris’ just-released Motion, both parties are ring-finger-deep in some heavy-duty relationship drama. Harris’ lady throws stuff at him, and Goulding’s guy screams at her a bunch.
Poor kids, but maybe this is a much-needed sign that Harris and Goulding would be better off together? (Sorry to Harris’ and Goulding’s respective significant others, Aarika Wolf and Dougie Poynter). Watch “Outside” above.
