Nineteen years on and Elf Power are still conjuring some of the finest psychedelic-folk to emerge from the Elephant 6 collective. Earlier this month, the Athens, Georgia mainstays unveiled their latest full-length experiment, Sunlight on the Moon, through Darla Records/Orange Twin Records. Now, they're supporting the LP with a video for "Darkest Wave," a low-key, fuzzed-out track that nods to the tune of a steady tambourine pulse. Directed by Jason Thrasher and edited by Kyle Carruthers, the just-released clip throws a dreamy gaze at the individual members of Elf Power, as the camera woozily fades in and out from close-up to close-up. Drift along with the lens by hitting the play button above.
