The creators of Twilight have proven, yet again, to have good taste in music.

The soundtrack for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse was released today in a live roll out with one artist announced every 30 minutes until all 15 were disclosed. SPIN faves like Beck and Bat for Lashes (doing a duet), Metric, Muse, the Dead Weather, Florence & the Machine, Fanfarlo, Vampire Weekend, and Band of Horses all recorded original tracks for the upcoming third film in the vampire series.

"Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever)," from Twilight author Stephenie Meyer's "favorite" band Muse, will be the first single. The Brit arena rockers are the only band to appear on all three Twilight soundtracks, including the pop-punk and metal-tinged release for the original Twilight and indie-tastic set for New Moon.

Other artists contributing to the Eclipse soundtrack include Gnarls Barkley crooner Cee-Lo, the Bravery, Brit electro duo UNKLE, and, perhaps the least know band on the tracklist, Eastern Conference Champions, a Philadelphia-bred indie rock trio.

No word yet what scenes each song will accompany, but we can certainly envision a seduction scene to Fanfarlo (watch the band play acoustic at SPIN HQ!), a dramatic flying scene to Muse, and a heated vampire battle to the Dead Weather.
