Earl Sweatshirt Is Dropping a New Album Next Week

Earl Sweatshirt, I Don't Do Shit

On the heels of Drake’s surprise mixtape release and Kendrick Lamar’s surprisingly early To Pimp a Butterfly release, Earl Sweatshirt is suddenly dropping a new album of his own next week. Except, um, it looks like we weren’t supposed to know about that yet. I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside: An Album by Earl Sweatshirt, the follow-up to 2013’s Doris, appeared suddenly for pre-order in the iTunes store, and if Earl’s angry tweets are anything to go by, it wasn’t supposed to be there.

Earl’s second tweet is, for what it’s worth very, very similar to a now-deleted tweet from Top Dawg entertainment boss Anthony Tiffith after Lamar’s album hit iTunes ahead of its intended release date. I Don’t Like Shit will allegedly drop on March 23, but who can really be sure these days? Earl also shared the first single from the new LP, “Grief,” which you can watch above. Check out the full track list below.
