Tim Batke, the co-founder of Canadian synth-pop quintet Faunts, has expanded his sonic palette for his new side project, Duplekita. The multi-instrumentalist enlisted 21 supporting players for the enormous collective (as many as 14 people play simultaneously), which will release its debut album, The Sound of My Name, on July 29. On the way through Kinsella Recordings, the upcoming effort shares its name with its just-revealed lead single, an expansive blend of shimmering synths, gentle guitar strumming, dreamy harmonies, and a pulsing drum beat. Bask in its glory below.
