Duck Sauce are preparing a full album titled Quack, and the duo of A-Trak and Armand Van Helden is working very hard to ensure it’s everything you’d exp— okay, okay, that it’s everything it’s quacked up to be. The “Barbara Streisand” twosome already shared the wonderfully goofy “It’s You,” which recalls a squeaky update on the antique-beat style of British artist the Real Tuesday Weld’s 2002 “Bathtime in Clerkenwell.” Now they’ve unveiled a new single called “Radio Stereo” (via Stereogum). This one is a more straight-ahead dance-party floor-filler, with easy-to-remember chants (about listening to the radio) set atop horn-blaring funk-pop that brings to mind something you might’ve heard from one of Duck Rock O.G. Malcolm McLaren’s early-’80s outfits. Duck Sauce also recently shared unreleased demos and music that has inspired them as part of BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, which you can listen to while it lasts over at the BBC’s site.
