Download Call Me Lightning's 'Nobody Dies'

The rambunctious Milwaukee trio Call Me Lightning released their sophomore LP Soft Skeletons today on Frenchkiss. Recorded in three different studios, including Steve Albini's Electrical Audio in Chicago, Soft Skeletons is an attempt to harness the electricity of youth, complete with a gang of shouting teens on backup.

"Nobody Dies" is flurry of punk howls and feverish riffs where frontman Nathan Lilley wails about debauchery and delivers his favorite line on the album: "Every day can be the same if you believe / Your own shit, so pretend its chocolate / And eat every turd you can find." The track was inspired by one of Lilley's favorite books, The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam. "It, according to my young interpretation and bad memory, posits that our lives are both predestined and devoid of meaning," Lilley told SPIN.com. "So the best solution is to be merry, drink wine, and make the best of a rotten deal."
