Beach House

Layers of ghostly organs and twinkling electric guitars; delicate percussion; Victoria Legrand's spellbinding coo -- it's the unique sound of Baltimore duo Beach House, who blissfully pair Mazzy Star psychedelia with hints of 1950s girl-group pop, and it's rife on "Norway," a track from the band's Sub Pop debut, Teen Dream (out Jan. 26). The song just hit the web -- download it below!

Does something sound familiar? Well, Legrand guested on Grizzly Bear's SPIN-approved release Veckatimest, and the pair teamed up for "Slow Life," one of the best songs on the chart-topping New Moon soundtrack. And expect to hear more from Beach House in 2010: if "Norway" is any indication, Teen Dream could be the band's big breakout release!

Tell us what you think of "Norway" in the comment section below.
