In celebration of their 10th anniversary, Deer Tick are doing a six-day residency at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City, where they’ll cover a different record in its entirety every night. Before they culminate their residency with an all-fan-requested covers show on New Year’s Eve, the Providence outfit spent Saturday tackling Lou Reed’s sophomore solo album, Transformer. The set featured a weepy rendition of “Perfect Day” with Brooklyn’s own Sharon Van Etten on vocals, as well as “I’m So Free” with Titus Andronicus frontman Patrick Stickles. Watch “Perfect Day” above.
