Southern Cali-based fans of lit-rockers the Decemberists will be graced with a show by the Portland, OR collective accompanied by the Los Angeles Philharmonic symphony July 7 at the Hollywood Bowl, Pitchfork reports. The Decemberists will debut fresh arrangements for numerous tunes during the gig, which will be opened by reverb-rockers Band of Horses. Although no further dates have been announced, additional shows with orchestral accompaniment are reportedly in the Decemberists' calendar.
