Death Grips Drop Massive Interactive ‘I’ve Seen Footage’ Video

So the VMAs were a bust and Headbangers Ball may be on its way out, but MTV can still do a few music-related things right, as evidenced by “Gif Me More: Party,” an interactive music video of sorts featuring “I’ve Seen Footage” by Death Grips.

Click on the site and it drops you into the middle of a pool party that’s blasting the Sacramento noise-rap crew’s Run-D.M.C.-checking anthem from The Money Store. The party itself is one big loop, but with a single click you can transported into the body of any attendee — even the dog!

So what if the lean, mean, extreme MC Ride or drum-pummeling Zach Hill would probably never be caught dead in a place full of neon bikinis, umbrella cocktails and BMX bikes — you can ride that bike into the freaking pool, play ping-pong from either side of the table, and totally make out.

The way it works: Each person is a video loop, or a living GIF, unto his or herself, on some sort of self-obliterating mission. Spend enough time poking around, and you can hop consciousness until you reach previously hidden areas of the house. Find the five key characters, and you get a free Death Grips EP.
