David Bowie's upcoming "classic" sounding LP, The Next Day, comes out on March 12 (it's one of 50 Albums You Gotta Hear this year), but on April 13, Parlophone will reissue one of the Thin White Duke's actual classics: 1973's Aladdin Sane.

Fact reports that just like 1972's The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars before it, Aladdin Sane will get a 40th anniversary commemorative edition. Remastering duties will be handled by Ray Staff of London's Air Studios, who actually mastered the original album and also retouched Ziggy Stardust for last year's re-release. Unlike the Ziggy reissue, though, Aladdin won't come with any exclusive extras or an accompanying DVD — in fact, it won't even be available in vinyl.

The 40th anniversary remaster of Aladdin Sane will only be sold as a CD and an iTunes download. Disappointing as it may be, the lack of bonus material shouldn't be too surprising, since Aladdin's 1990 CD release offered nothing new, and its 2003 double-CD reissue featured several rehashed leftovers. Scroll down for Aladdin Sane's track list, which is exactly as you remember it.

Aladdin Sane 40th Anniversary Reissue track list:

1. "Watch That Man"
2. "Aladdin Sane (1913-1938-197?)"
3. "Drive-In Saturday"
4. "Panic In Detroit"
5. "Cracked Actor"
6. "Time"
7. "The Prettiest Star"
8. "Let’s Spend the Night Together"
9. "The Jean Genie"
10. "Lady Grinning Soul"
