Dashboard, Yellowcard, Gym Class Heroes Play Bamboozle Left

Thousands poured onto Cal Poly’s athletic fields in Pomona, CA for the first ever Bamboozle Left music festival, an offshoot of New Jersey’s Bamboozle. More than 80 bands — including Yellowcard, Dashboard Confessional, Brand New, Big Japan, Halifax, Sugarcult, A Thorn for Every Heart, Jack’s Mannequin, the Bled, the Fall of Troy, 30 Seconds to Mars, and Thrice — took the stage over the course of the weekend.

On Saturday, Gym Glass Heroes had festival-goers grooving to their funky, hip-hop sound, and Dashboard Confessional’s Chris Carrabba prompted sing-alongs to his fan-favorites. On Sunday, Yellowcard’s fans previewed some new tracks, but theadliners, Brand New drew the biggest reaction, finishing the festival with their infectious pop-punk tunes. BRADLEY SPITZER
