Springtime in Austin means only one thing: Another year, another South by Southwest festival taking over the Texan capital. For next year's festival -- the 20th anniversary of the legendary music and film extravaganza -- speakers include the Pretenders, Billy Bragg, and a keynote conversation with Neil Young. Over 7,500 bands applied to perform at SXSW, and the initial band lineup includes Dashboard Confessional, the Go! Team, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, the Arctic Monkeys, Saves the Day, Tom Vek, the Magic Numbers, Neko Case, and the Duke Spirit. The SXSW fest takes place March 15-19.
