Glenn Danzig has been busy lately pursuing a share of the Misfits merch that former bandmate Jerry Only has been peddling at Hot Topic stores across the country, but as Consequence of Sound points out, he’s working on new music as well. The man occasionally known as Evil Elvis revealed Saturday night—the anniversary of Elvis Presley’s death—that he’s working on a new covers EP called Danzig Sings Elvis. If that seems like a strange mix, consider that even as far back as 1993 Danzig was playing Presley’s “Trouble” with his band. There’s no more details available on the EP as of yet, but you can watch archival footage of a metallic “Trouble” above.
