Stream Danny Brown’s Guest-Stacked ‘Old’ a Week Before You Can Buy It

Danny Brown, 'Old,' album stream, spotify, Charli XCX, ScHoolboy Q

Danny Brown is back. Old, the follow-up to 2011’s XXX, is streaming now over on Spotify. The album was previously set to come out today, but the video for nostalgic-baiting “Side A (Old)” noted that’s pushed back to October 8 via Fool’s Gold. Along with “ODB,” which like Drake’s “Wu-Tang Forever” applies the Clan’s legend to the artist himself, the molly ode “Dip,” and A$AP Rocky team-up “Kush Coma,” the album also includes collaborations with Freddie Gibbs, Purity Ring, ScHoolboy Q, Scrufizzer, Ab-Soul, and “SuperLove” singer-songwriter Charli XCX. Recall, also, that XXX was No. 1 on SPIN’s 40 Best Rap Albums of 2011 — good for No. 6 among our best 2011 albums overall. Listen the new one below, but if you’re in a workplace, maybe opt for headphones instead of speakers.
