Daft Punk beamed onto the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards tonight (August 25), offering a glittery glimpse of their upcoming "Lose Yourself to Dance" music video. The teaser, seen above, features the robots performing alongside Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams in the middle of — what else? — a futuristic disco dance party.
Immediately after the clip finished, Daft Punk, Rodgers, and Williams all walked onstage to present the award for Best Female Video, which went to Taylor Swift for "I Knew You Were Trouble." The droids otherwise known as Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo didn't speak, "Get Lucky," or perform any other Random Access Memories tunes, which means Stephen Colbert got boned over a whole lot of nothing.
