Courtney Barnett dropped by The Ellen Degeneres Show on Monday afternoon to entertain Ellen and her audience with a charmingly sulky performance of “Depreston,” off of her upcoming album Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit. Degeneres called the deadpanning singer-songwriting one of her “favorite new artists,” and the Australian, backed by her normal band, delivered on the host’s endorsement.
