Indie supergroup Monsters of Folk has announced plans for a fall tour, kicking off October 13 in Vancouver, BC, before hitting 16 cities across the U.S.

The band — Bright Eyes’ Conor Oberst and Mike Mogis, My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James, and M. Ward — are partnering with Air Traffic Control, a resource for musicians’ philanthropic and social work, to donate $1 from every ticket sold to nonprofit organizations in each city on the tour.

The four members will switch instruments and roles throughout each show and play songs from their upcoming album, Monsters of Folk, due September 22. The first single, “Say Please,” is available for download on the band’s website now.

Meanwhile, James will release his first solo effort, an album of six George Harrison cover tracks called Tribute To, on August 4, and Conor Oberst performed at the kick-off for Merge Records’ 20th anniversary celebration just last night.
