Smashing Pumpkins' 20th anniversary tour, which kicked off last month in Cleveland, rolled into Los Angeles Tuesday night for the first gig of a two-night stand at the Gibson Amphitheater. Does Billy Corgan think he's an Aztec Sun God now?
Billy: " I...I mean- The Smashing Pumpkins have risen on this 20th year and we will now receive blood- I mean eternal love..."
The show was incredible. Billy was a rock god and the jaded LA fans loved it. I can't wait for night two. BTW, did they turn the volume to 11 for SuperChrist? that one shook my bowels and melted my face.
