Celebrities Reportedly Paid Thousands to Attend Coachella

Coachella Celebrities Paid Aaron Paul Lea Michele Vanessa Hudgens

If you broke the bank to buy Coachella passes, you’re about to get really angry. While fans paid at least $375 for a three-day pass, celebrities are apparently getting paid up to $20,000 just to attend the Indio, California festival, New York Daily News reports.

According to their gossip division Confidenti@l, Glee star Lea Michele will earn $20,000 from Lacoste just for being there (and wearing their clothes), while McDonald’s is paying Vanessa Hudgens $15,000 for an unknown promotion. Breaking Bad‘s Aaron Paul, who once played in a celebrity kickball game with Guy Fieri at Lollapalooza, is supposedly asking for $15,000 and a few VIP passes, with Kate Bosworth looking for double that amount. And we’ll just present this sentence without comment: “Joe Jonas is seeking somewhere under $20,000, while British fashion blogger Louise Roe wants $5,000 and three tickets.”

So, if you happen to meet a celebrity while you’re wandering the grounds or enjoying the musical stylings of OutKast, Arcade Fire, Beck, and others, there’s a chance that they’re actually working-ish.
