Coachella 2008 Set Times Unveiled

coachella_crowd_0.jpg

Coachella officials have finally unveiled the complete schedule for the festival’s 2008 installment, set to kick off at Indio, CA’s Empire Polo Fields, well, tomorrow! Buckle down and meticulously plot your attack, concertgoers, for the road to musical success is one littered with intersections; Kraftwerk vs. Rilo Kiley! Kate Nash vs. St. Vincent! MGMT vs. Bonde Do Role! Animal Collective vs. M.I.A.! Sean Penn (?) vs. Metric!

But naturally, with a few select headliners and heavy hitters, there’s not much thinking involved: Catch Vampire Weekend at the Outdoor Theatre Friday (April 25) at 5:40 P.M., before moving to the main stage for sets from the Raconteurs and the Verve. Don’t miss Death Cab for Cutie’s new tunes blast off the Coachella Stage Saturday (April 26) at 6:30 P.M., prefacing Portishead’s appearance, and finally Prince’s night-capping set at 10:45 P.M. And only a fool would pass up My Morning Jacket’s Sunday (April 27) set warming the stage from 7-8 P.M. for headliner and final act Roger Waters.
