Cloud Nothings Shred Mightily in 'Psychic Trauma' Live Video

Ohio distortion fiends hit play behind their rock-solid new set, 'Here and Nowhere Else'

Cleveland rippers Cloud Nothings followed up on the brutal majesty of 2012's Attack on Memory with the emo sweet-spot-hitting Here and Nowhere Else, out now. As Claire Lobenfeld wrote for SPIN, the band's most recent set hews "closest to the meaty, gut-wrenching midpoint between Rites of Spring and Bleed American," so it's not hard to imagine how effective that combination would be live. Even so, you needn't try — just hit play above to watch Dylan Baldi and co. tear into "Psychic Trauma," and witness for yourself why the band so handily made our Best of SXSW 2014 list. That clip captures Cloud Nothings at our annual Stubb's day party in Austin, Texas. Keep an ear out for the collaborative Wavves album on the way. Also catch performances from Temples and Future Islands.
