The members of CHVRCHES have already shown off a talent for unexpected covers, with their version of the Game of Thrones theme song and singer Lauren Mayberry’s rendition of Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing in the Name” (done with her previous band, Blue Sky Archives). Now the Glaswegian trio have recorded another surprise tribute. In a recent set filmed for the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, the synth-savvy romantics delivered a rendition of “Stay Another Day,” a sappy 1994 single by British boy band East 17.
