CVHRCHES have long since proved that they're a crack cover band, taking on the likes of Whitney, the Game of Thrones theme song, Rage (kinda), Bauhaus, and even U.K. boy band East 17. For their latest tribute, the Scottish synth-pop trio went in a more predictably fitting direction by performing Lorde's "Team" for BBC's Radio 1. Prior to the performance, The Bones of What You Believe band explained that they shared a festival bill with the "Royals" monarch in Australia and loved both the song and her stage presence, and this was their way of honoring the teen phenom. Of course, CHVRCHES make the Pure Heroine hit their own, adding dark synth-pop flair with Lauren Mayberry lending her delicate yet forceful vocal touches. Enjoy it above.
