One of the highlights of Las Vegas' Vegoose Festival was sitting down with legendary hip-hop maven Chuck D of lyrical assault perpetrators Public Enemy. Balancing the wacky, zany antics of co-frontman Flava Flav, Chuck D discusses the allure of performing at music festivals ("It's always been a no brainer"), Public Enemy's recent output and performances ("We knew presenting ourselves in a show was always our constant."), his flamboyant longtime pal (Flava Flav has always been a super star"), and the truth's position in today's deceitful society: "There's nothing political about it, it's just common sense, but sense is not common."
