This month, Chromeo released their matured and self-assured fourth album White Women and before they set out on a tour that’ll occupy most of their summer and fall, the New York-based duo headed over to David Letterman’s midtown studio last night for a performance of “Jealous (I Ain’t With It).”
Glammy guitar solos, slyly seductive synth parts, and frontman Dave 1’s goofy stage presence all made their expected appearances, but Chromeo also brought along a handful of backing vocalists to give their minimalist stage show an added jolt. Letterman didn’t have all too much to say about the performance, but that may be just because they didn’t have any drums on hand.
