Christopher Owens surprised fans today by releasing a new song, "It Comes Back to You," and announcing the upcoming release of his second solo album. "Here's a song from a new album I've made with dear friends, it's thrilling for me to finally be able to share this — Xo," the former Girls singer tweeted with a link to the track. The country-tinged, organ-heavy cut sounds like Ryan Adams or Conor Oberst at their happiest, and ends with a soul singer adding gospel-like flourishes. Have a listen to the first taste from Owens' follow-up to Lysandre below.
