Chili Peppers Bum Rush the Stadium

After twenty years, eight albums, and several trips to rehab, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are still forging ahead with gusto: The band is preparing to release their ninth album, Stadium Arcadium in April. According to the Australian website Undercover.com.au, Stadium is going to be a double album, and it was recorded in California with Rick Rubin, the Def Jam co-founder who produced the Peppers’ breakthrough album, Blood Sugar Sex Magik. So far, extant songs from the album include “Stadium Arcadium,” “Dani California,” “Hard to Concentrate,” “Desecration Smile,” and “Charlie.”
