Cherry Glazerr Unleash Crunchy Punk-Metal Grooves on ‘Haxel Princess’

Cherry Glazerr 'Haxel Princess' Stream Album Burger

If the name Cherry Glazerr sounds familiar, you’ve probably been listening to Southern California public radio. Not because the Los Angeles band is getting much airplay — not yet, at least — but because they borrowed their handle from local NPR anchor Chery Glaser. Either way, this Burger Records trio has gotten some love outside of town with their ethereal early offering “Tick or Treat Dancefloor,” landing on CW show Arrow and scoring a Saint Laurent clip. Now they’re gearing up to release their debut album Haxel Princess on January 14 and they’re hawking a heavier sound. The titular song is streaming below and it features singer/guitarist Clementine Creevy unleashing a punk-metal torrent while bassist Sean Redman and drummer Hannah Uribe drive the spooky groove.
