Chance the Rapper’s Acid Rap displays the Chicago MC’s diverse tastes and talent. That SPIN Essential showcases his tongue-twisting rhyme styles and smoky singing ability with equal aplomb (plus his ability to squawk like a crow), but it’s still a pleasant surprise to watch SAVEMONEY’s shining star sing a little Coldplay. In the clip above, via Highbrow Hip-Hop, we see Chance covering “Fix You,” an X&Y highlight that in the Rapper’s hands somehow winds up sounding a bit like Mount Eerie or the Microphones. The man is currently on his Social Experiment Tour accompanied by footwork innovators DJ Rashad and Spinn. The fan-shot video above comes from Wednesday night’s stop in Syracuse, New York.
