Brothers in Arms: Oasis and Kasabian

After a night of hard drinking with the notoriously party-hungry Gallagher brothers, Kasabian has talked of plans to record with Oasis. Kasabian is currently opening for Oasis in the U.S., and even through the hangover haze, the often-salty Noel Gallagher told MTV, "We're talking about doing some stuff with them, but I don't know that anything will come of that." Noel added, "They are more than welcome in my studio...it will be great." Both bands will be at this weekend's Across the Narrows festival, which takes place simultaneously in Brooklyn and Staten Island on Saturday and Sunday. Oasis and Kasabian will play the Staten Island show on Sunday, October 2.

Oasis/Kasabian U.S. tour dates:

9/29, Baltimore, MD (Merriweather Post Pavilion)
9/30, Cleveland, OH (Blossom Music Center)
10/2, Staten Island, NY (Across the Narrows)
