Brooklyn Shanti is a North Carolina-born producer and em-cee, whose new video "This Feeling" is surprisingly simple for a guy who seems to have a hand in everything from musical spoken word collaborations to being dubbed the Indian Bambaataa by the Universal Zulu Nation. Featuring the Guyanese reggae artist Jahdan Blakkamoore, "This Feeling," produced by Thornato, is a reggae-pop ode to the ladies of summer. (He sings: "It's the summertime / So many mamis / I think I found my princess / my Rani Rani.") Watch the video for "This Feeling" above and look out for Brooklyn Shanti's forthcoming album, due out September 9 via Someplace Called Brooklyn.
