Brittany Howard and Ruby Amanfu each performed at the Grammys, and now the two earthy-voiced singers are teaming up. The Alabama Shakes frontwoman and Jack White’s “Love Interruption” duet partner are releasing a collaborative seven-inch single on March 12 via White’s Third Man Records. The A-side will be a cover of 1970 jazz-folk nugget “I Wonder” by Rodriguez, who’s the title figure of this year’s Oscar-winning documentary Searching for Sugar Man. The B-side is a lusty acoustic rendition of “When My Man Comes Home,” with Howard and Amanfu trading vocals on a song the label says was first recorded by blues legend Memphis Minnie.
