Britney Spears' exit for The X Factor and split from her fiance mean more of her for the rest of us. For those who want even more, her tour musical director Simon Ellis has posted a download of the remix of her "Gimme More" that was used on the pop singer's 2011 Femme Fatale tour (via Perez Hilton). With heavy low-end and choir-like backing vocals, this version sounds like it might appear in a Tim Burton Batman film or a weirdly Broadway-oriented Lex Luger mixtape.

Given that "Gimme More," originally from 2007's Blackout, also features on Spears' new single with, "Scream and Shout," here's yet another reason to hope, unreasonably, that Britney wasn't just kidding when she hinted at a Blackout 2.0.

 Download via DropBox.
