Brazos Expose a Lifetime of Memories in Oddball ‘Charm’ Video

brazos, charm

Brazos main man Martin Crane offered a peek inside his head a few months back via the stop-motion video for “How the Ranks Was Won,” a clip that the frontman wrote and directed himself. Now fans can dig deeper into Crane’s psyche by watching the video for “Charm,” from the New York trio’s upcoming (and streamable) sophomore album, Saltwater. Josh Chertoff directs the short, which exposes the song’s sentimental core through science: A mad professor wires into a human brain in order to project his lifetime of memories onto a screen.

“‘Charm,’ to me, is about moments passing and things fading away,” Chertoff said in a statement. “I wanted the video to capture that feeling, to be a glimpse into a life’s worth of those small moments.”
