Perhaps egged on by the speedy announcement of Lollapalooza's 2014 dates, the organizers of Bonnaroo have already revealed that next year's festival will take place from June 12 to 15. The location, as always, is Manchester, Tennessee's Great State Park.
"Bonnaroo organizers are once again back to the drawing board, ensuring that next year’s event will have one of the most eclectic and striking lineups," they said in a statement. As we noted in our Lollapalooza 2014, acts such as Arcade Fire, Drake, Pearl Jam, Lady Gaga, the Weeknd, and (probably) Eminem will have new albums out by then, so it's feasible a few of them could be at the top of the bill.
SPIN's correspondents had a great time at the 'Roo this year, with Swans, Paul McCartney, and R. Kelly leading the way in the 50 Best Things We Saw. If you need any more convincing to pack up your tent and head to Tennessee next June, check out our collection of the best photos from the festival, then watch Jim James and co. jam out on "Instant Karma." Oh, and here's are a couple of mini-documentaries recapping this year's action.
